Wake The Talents Up!

We at Akshara firmly believe that Academic pursuits alone are not sufficient for the holistic development of the child’s personality. Hence our children are motivated and trained to take part in many Arts and Sports competitions like Action Song, Story Telling, Speech, recitation, Solo Dance, Light Music, Fancy Dress. Drawing etc. We constantly motivate them to take part in all events and give them a platform to showcase their individual talents. Their participation in these competition boosts their evels of confidence and self esteem and nurtures their in born abilities and aptitude.
Children are grouped in four houses – Rose, Sunflower, Dahlia and Tulips.
Everybody participate turn by turn in house events like ‘saying the thought for the day” at the assessembly, news reporting on every Wednesday and putting up displays on the Bulletin board. We observe and inform them about the importance and significance of each day like the Environment Day, Martyrs Day etc.

In order to bring out their inate talents and skills, hold weekly classes for drawing, music, karate, dance and craft. These classes help them to hone and groom the other dimensions of their personality. These classes are conducted by experts in the respective field.

We also imbibe in them the values of respect, compassion, friendly, honesty etc.
